Our adult classes are suitable for all levels, if you’re just starting out or have years of experience.

With a range of tutors and classes, we have something to suit every skill level and personality. We also have monitored open training sessions where you can practice skills in your own time.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Monday Open Verticals

Mondays 5:45pm - 7pm

with Jane Mieka

Monday Open Verticals is a dynamic class for aerialists, from those with some experience to those at an advanced levels. Whether you prefer rope or silks, this class focuses on building strong technique, expanding your movement vocabulary, and exploring new choreography. Tailored to your skill level, you will grow creatively and technically in a supportive environment.

Tuesday Beginner Aerials

Tuesdays 5:45pm - 7pm

with Chloe Ross

Focussed on the beauty of aerial silks and aerial hoop this class will guide you through fundamental skills, poses, and transitions. and climbs, Specifically designed to give you a well rounded start on your circus journey. Build physical confidence while having fun!

Wednesday Open Straps Next Steps (beginners to advanced)

Wednesdays 5:45pm - 7pm

with Mary Piggin

Aerial straps involves strength conditioning, spinning and swinging techniques, skills and creative shapes in the air. Appropriate progressions will be given to you suited to the level of where you are at. Straps is an awesome, popular apparatus and it also provides benefits to compliment your other aerial disciplines. 

Saturdays Open Mixed Aerial

Saturdays 3:30 - 4.45pm

with Jodi Russell

The ultimate in student led circus arts, Jodi Russell provides a space to explore your physical capabilities, creativity, and bravery. A fun, bangin’ environment Jodi will guide you at your level towards your circus goals.

Tuesday Open Partner Acro

Tuesdays 7:15pm - 8.30pm

with Geoff Gilson & Charlotte Holmes

Partner Acrobalance teaches the fundamental concepts and techniques of balancing people on people. Also called Adagio, Acro or Balance Acro,  it's an incredible discipline for core balance, strength, body awareness  and partner work.

Duo Trapeze

Just Starting Out (Beginners)

Thursdays 7.15 - 8.30pm

with Eve Gordon

Keen to work with a partner and do something really physically demanding? Come start learning duo trapeze!!!! Its great for the body and teaches you dynamic technique which will help all other aerial apparatus!! Unless you've had a few years experience with dynamic doubles technique this is the class for you! 

Tuesday Open Flexibility

Tuesdays 5:45pm - 7pm

with Maya Jacobi

This is the ideal class if you want to level up your flexibility in your circus, or dance practice. Carefully selected exercises designed to increase your strength at end-range, setting you up with the stability you need to get further into those splits, master your backbend, and work towards other amazing contortion skills.

Duo Trapeze

Getting There (Int/Advanced)

8.30 - 9.45pm

with Eve Gordon

Want to level up your aerial doubles? This workshop will push your Duo Trapeze technique to the next level. Focussed on dynamic technique, we’ll cover the generation of momentum from tempos up. Workshop will cover semi and full releases as well as a cute collection of movement pathways. Come ready to work and have your skills pushed.


Mime and Physical Character

Wednesday 5.45 - 7.00pm

With Zoe Higgins, you’ll learn mime and physical theatre techniques to build core skills of precision, articulation, and rhythm, and develop your understanding of how movement makes meaning. This is a fun, open-level class for anyone who wants to expand their toolbox of performance techniques for circus, theatre, and clown.

Tumbling

Thursdays 7.15 - 8.30pm

with Geoff Gilson

Tumbling with Geoff is a fun way to explore solo ground based acrobatic skills. Using both an acromat and an air filled tumble mat, we will look at rolls, jumps, cart-wheels and further skills, such as: hand springs, flick-flacks, and flips. Suitable for all ages. Geoff will give a series of progressions, so that you can develop your acrobatic skills from where ever you already are.

Saturday Open Handbalance

Saturdays 10:00 - 11.15am

with Mel Duff

Whatever your level, Handbalance class is full of techniques to develop your handstand skills. Become comfortable in handstand shapes and positions and build the strength needed for a strong handstand journey.

Thursday Open Dance Fitness

Thurs 5.45 - 7pm

with Geoff Gilson

Trained contemporary dancer Geoff Gilson will lead you through a dance conditioning, fitness class, working on strength/alignment rhythm/presence in space. This will allow you to develop movement skills to support your circus practice,

No classes on Monday 26th January, (Auckland Anniversary) and on Saturday 4th April (Easter)

Term 2 2026 - 10 Weeks
Monday 20th April - Saturday 4th July.

No class Monday 27th April (Anzac Day) and on 1st June (King’s Birthday)

ADULT CLASS PRICES

Aerial Classes (10 x 1hr 15min classes)
1x Class per week: $305.00 per term

Ground Based Classes (10 x 1hr 15min classes)
1x Class per week: $225.00 per term

Casual Rate
Casual One Off rate: $36.00 per aerial class / $30.00 per ground class.
