EVE GORDON
I worked as a projectionist for a few years and developed a love for celluloid.
I'm interested in what sort of response can be conjoured by the simple elements of light, colour, texture and rhythm, in breaking down the structure of film to its most basic elements and still telling a story.
I am also interested in the theatrical possibilities with experimental film, incorporating physical theatre or circus aerials in either narratively interactive or textually interacting ways.

I want to make physical theatre films, to conjoin the rawness and effort of physical and aerial theatre with the story structures possible with film.
I work with a mixture of film and DV, mostly for fiscal reasons but I have found things to play with in digital video: I like trying to randomise it in some way, try to make it organic.
